Planning More Musical Scenes for You

In the Forest

August 22 (rain date August 29)

Her etc. is working with Snohomish County Parks and the Sleeping Bulldog Studio to bring you a one-day, intimate musical experience in nature. Stay tuned as we work with fellow musicians to plan the lineup. This will be a great day for you to relax in a forest grotto and listen to the acoustic creations of local musicians.

Bring the family, a blanket, and a picnic to enjoy the day.

For Musicians:

Looking forward to you joining this one-day event.  Here are few rules and logistics for this event:

  • A free family-friendly musical event.

  • Time slots will be organized based on interest.  A minimum of 20 minutes for each performance.

  • Acoustic only, no amplification allowed.

  • The forest grotto is located approximately 5 minutes into the park.  Access by the hiking trail including boardwalks.  Access by the horse trail includes a steep slope. Please plan a few extra minutes to walk to the event site.

  • Restrooms are only provided at the parking areas.

  • No alcohol, drugs, or smoking.

  • Light refreshments will be provided for musicians.  Otherwise, picnics are welcome.

  • Donations only will be accepted to support the musicians.

  • No sales are permitted in the park. Albums can be sold outside of the park by providing a download card or business card.

  • The park must be left in its natural condition. Please plan on helping us sweep up after the event.

  • Signage and event insurance will be provided by Sleeping Bulldog Studio.

  • Thank you to all the artists who helped plan the dates:  August 22 as the primary event date and August 29 as a rain date, if needed.
